A sacred time is upon the people, a time that descends only once every
thousand years. As the Druids will be only too happy to tell you, this is
the season of the Moonstones! But to earn such a great prize, first you
must prove yourself. Dare you enter the Valley of the Gods to vanquish the
fearsome guardian, claim the ultimate prize and earn your place amongst
the heavens?

Moonstone is a mixture of pure violent beaten-up action and RPG item management.
You as one of four knights start off in your home village.
Each village is situated in one of the four territories – the Northern Wastelands, the Misty Moors, the Great Forest or the Wetlands.
Each territory contains six lairs where you fight the evil monsters, and a city where you can upgrade weapons, heal wounds or just gamble away your hard earned coin.
The idea is that you obtain four keys, one resides in each territory, then you can enter the Valley Of The Gods to retrive a Moonstone from the Guardian.
Four players can play at anyone time, and any characters that are not player controlled try to hunt down their human opponents.
You are able to turn on your human opponent, and should you win the battle you can steal their hard earn treasure.
Also be aware of the big red Dragon that flies around the map. Chances are he'll have you for breakfast!

The grphics, oh yes the graphics..... awesome..... sorry, gruesome!
This is one very violent game, heads and limbs are regularly chopped off with massive blood squirts and gushes. There is blood everywhere, its just great!

Some lovely squelching sounds, screams and roars.
The in game music adds to the atmosphere.

A game that will always be remembered for its gory graphics, more so that its quite original combination of RPG and beatem-up action.
