Sinclair released the ZX80 in 1980, followed by the ZX81 in 1982. Finally the Spectrum model that everyone knows and loves, the ZX Spectrum followed in the same year as the ZX81.

The distinctive rubbers key were gone for the redesigned ZX Spectrum+ while in 1986 the Spectrum 128K was released with increased memory and sound capabilities.
